Damien Curry Ormond Beach City Mayor
Damian Curry is a small business owner of Garden Boys Landscaping, He is a U.S. Navy veteran and is running to shape Ormond Beach to a Better future. Curry spent his early childhood in Volusia County, and he currently serves on the board of his homeowners association to oppose HOA fee increases. He lobbied to balance the budget of his HOA, and the board appointed him to lead a major construction project in his neighborhood. City fees and taxes that impact seniors and people on fixed incomes is his top priority, as well as real estate development development and infrastructure.Â
Colleen MCMahon Zone 1, Running For Open Seat
I have been moved by the calls of my neighbors and friends to step up and help our community as an Ormond Beach City Commissioner. I know that we must stop the spending and make our government more transparent for residents. I understand that our commissioners should be listening to their residents not the special interests https://mcmahon4ormondbeach.com/
Jennifer Bright Zone 2, Challenging Challenging Travis Sargent
Jennifer Bright, a retired financial data analyst, filed to run to represent Zone 2 on the commission on June 2. Bright, who has lived in Ormond Beach for four years, has been a regular commission meeting attendee for the past year. She decided to run for office because she believes the commission should pay more attention to the existing residents and taking care of current infrastructure. votejenniferbright.com
William Sanchez Zone 3, Challenging Kristen Deaton
William is running for the Ormond Beach Zone 3 City Commission because serving others has always been at the heart of who he is. More importantly, he sees real challenges within the Ormond Beach City Commission that need to be addressed with fresh perspective and honest leadership. https://leadershipforormond.com/
Barry DuMoulin Zone 4, Challenging Harold BrileyÂ
Barry DuMoulin is a Coast Guard veteran, with 12 years experience in search and rescue, and 12 more years in marine safety. Barry has served as a sword deputy, and managed the first Liquid Natural Gas facility off the coast of Massachusetts. One of his most interesting assignments was security chief for the USS Constitution, in Boston Harbor, the oldest commissioned ship in our navy’s history. I want to run for city commission to pump the brakes, rethink priorities, and implement more common sense into our government.Â
