Not even an interview with a lowly staffer! What does this tell us about how responsive Martha Coakley would be as a senator? The question is rhetorical.
I sent the following email to close out my correspondence with the uncooperative staffer, named Matt Helman:
Hey Matt!
Thanks for your help on my story about Coakley's positions on issues that most people aren't covering.
NOT!
By the way, your candidate has run a sh!t campaign. She's been running NOT TO LOSE, rather than to win. She might just blow it.
